Chester Bennington (born March 20, 1976) was a singer and American songwriter, known as the Frontman of the Linkin Park band. He first started singing in a band called Sean Dowdell and his friends? In 1993. He moved to form a new band named Gray Daze who released three albums from ’93 to ’97 until Chester left the group in 1998. He was frustrated and could not find a band to join Jeff Blue, BVP A & R in Zomba Music in law offered to audition with Linkin Park. Chester quit his job at a digital service company and managed to join Linkin Park, but this group failed to find a recording agreement. Jeff Blue became VP A & R at Warner Bros. and helped the band sign with WBR. In 2000, the band released their debut album, hybrid theory.
