If you were looking forward to the Riders Republic or Rainbox Six Extraction, then you want to set yourself because the wait of both began longer today. Ubisoft announced delays for the two titles of today, retreating two of its most anticipated games of the year. Fortunately, the delay for the corridors of the Republic is not a huge, but the same can not be said for the extraction of StainBox Six.
Ubisoft announced both delays today in separate news publications on your website. First, with respect to Republic riders, Ubisoft said it is moving the game launch date from September 2 to October 28. Essentially, Ubisoft is delaying the game in a couple of months, saying that it needs more time to “fine-tune the experience and give it another opportunity to jump before its launch and provide comments.”
Then, in this case, the silver coating is that Ubisoft will organize another beta test other than the next next one that was already scheduled. Unfortunately, the Riders Republic’s development team did not announce when that beta would take place, but said it will have more to share soon.
As regards the rainbow six extraction, it seems that we have a more severe delay. Originally scheduled to launch September 16, Ubisoft now says that the extraction has been transferred to January 2022. We did not get a more specific release date than that, but the Rainbox Six Extraction Development Team says that extra time will help To guarantee the game will be “the immersive, cooperative and exciting experience that we set out to create”.
Of course, it is almost no surprise to see delayed games, since the Covid-19 pandemic has drastically changed how those games are made. We have seen many delays in recent months, with the extraction and the Republic of Riders simply being the last two tickets in a long list.
