Anthony Bourdain (born Anthony Michael Bourdain in ny City, ny on June 25, 1956) is an American chef, author and television personality. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, he went on to write down multiple books, starting with 2000’s Kitchen Confidential: Adventures within the Culinary Underbelly. He also starred on television shows on the Food Network and CNN — Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, The Layover, and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. He was filming an episode of the latter in Paris when he was discovered dead in his bedroom by a lover .

Anthony was married to his highschool sweetheart Nancy Putkoski from 1985-2005.
