As the name suggests, Microsoft Flight Simulator is about flying, but so far, limited to airplanes. Although there are various fields available at Microsoft Flight Simulator, from small single machines such as Cessna 172 to a massive passenger aircraft such as Boeing 747-8, we are still limited to airplanes at the end of the day. Fortunately, it seems that all changed next year, because AsoBo Studio has confirmed that the helicopter came to the game.
This was revealed without much fanfare in the recent developer update published on the flight simulator website. Most of the developer updates are centered around the new partnership with Orbis International which will allow Microsoft flight simulator players to get around the Orbis Flying Eye eye in-game. The promotion will live on July 27 as a free download for all flight simulator players, so watch it for it.
Under the announcement, Asobo Studio posted a roadmap of development on June 20, 2021, which took us until September. However, it is accompanied by a feedback snapshot for Microsoft Flight Simulator, show all the user suggestions that have been collected from the flight simulator forum. First in the list with 1,506 defeats from the player base is a suggestion entitled “Helicopter is a must.”
The feedback snapshot revealed that the helicopter was planned for Microsoft flight simulators, but the bad news was they would not arrive until 2022. Because the feature was only in the planning stage, it might be long enough before we hear it more about them, but happy to know that They come apart.
Some other incoming features revealed by the “Wishes Top” list include several screen functions (planned for 2021-22), replay functionality (2021), and even the addition of trains controlled AI – but they will not arrive until 2023. We will put ears to the ground for more on a helicopter in the Microsoft Flight simulator, but instead, pay attention to the game launch on Xbox Series X | S on July 27.
