The CEO of PlayStation, Jim Ryan, has emphasized PlayStation’s willingness to delay games to guarantee the best possible quality, saying “Players just remember the best games instead of OK games.”
In an interview with TMTPost, Ryan revealed that PlayStation has delayed the next GODY BLOCKBUSTER GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK A 2022 for quality assurance, along with Gran Turismo 7 and the exclusive third of Ghostwire: Tokyo. “It’s better to wait and have a great game to run and have a game that is good or pretty good,” he said.
Recent PlayStation Exclusives certainly seem to be going well with the players, becoming leading games in the industry. Both Vuelá and Ratchet and Clank Rift Aparte have received Rave reviews, with the last title widely acclaimed as the best game of best appearance in the next generation consoles.
Delay tactics.
Ryan continued saying that PlayStation “has pressure” studies to deliver games for an expected time. Hopefully, the crisis is not part of the pressure given to the studies of it. Although the developments in insomniacular games publicly highlighted that the crisis was not part of the ratchet manufacturing and Rift Rift.
With regard to the Updates of PlayStation Exclusive Horizon forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok, Ryan said that these games will arrive within “next year more or less”.
Ryan also said that PlayStation was “fortunate” to have had so many new IPS games, highlighting the Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, and the days left, among others.
