While Tom Clancy fans have to wait until 2022 to get Rainbow Six extraction, it seems that Ubisoft will have a Tom Clancy game that is ready to go in the near future. Today the company announces XDefiant Tom Clancy, a new-to-play arena shooter that seems to have a hard focus on the player’s adjustment.
Ubisoft San Francisco is a leading development in this game, with Mark Rubin acting as an executive producer and Jason Schroeder as a creative director. In today’s reveal trailer, Rubin and Schroeder described the XDefiant Tom Clancy as a “Fire Extinguisher who quickly met Punk Rock Mosh Pit.” They also said that Xdefiant will combine “realistic gunlay with personalized classes.”
There will be four classes to choose from, it is known in the game as a faction. The wolf serves as a tank, while cleaners are assault factions. Echelon players will act as support, and the waste will provide a team with their physician. Rubin and Schroeder today said that the XDefiant factions were based on the Maverick group of the Tom Clancy franchise and that we would see more classes added to the match as time went on. Both also promised that a lot of attention had been given to how weapons were seen and felt in the game.
Basically, XDefiant seems to return to more traditional Multiphern FPS games in the sea title Royale Battle. There are many things that we still don’t know about xdefiant, to be honest, but it won’t be longer because we find more because Ubisoft will start the first beta test for the game.
The first beta to begin on August 5, but unfortunately, it will only be available for PC players in the US and Canada (other than PC, XDefiant Tom Clancy is being launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S). You can register for this beta test on the XDefiant website, which is expected to host more information about the game in the coming weeks.
