Yoko Ono Lennon, known as Yoko Ono (February 18, 1933, Tokyo, Japan) is an artist, Japanese Avant-Garde singer, and John Lennon’s widow. Have the right to stay permanent in the United States.

Early life

Yoko spent the first three years of his life with his mother Isoko Ono (Née Yasuda) in Tokyo, while his father Eisuke Ono lived and worked at the Bank of Japan’s office in San Francisco. In 1936, Yoko and his mother moved with their father, but they had to return to Japan a year later when their father was transferred to the New York Bank branch. The family came together again in 1940, but not long ago. With the outbreak of World War II, Yoko and his mother decided to return to their homeland. His aunt Anna Bubnova-Ono gave her first music lesson.

From 1943 to 1953, Yoko was taught at the prestigious Gakushuin school. In 1953 he joined Sarah Lawrence College in America, where he studied literature and music for the next few years and wanted to become an opera singer.

In 1956, against protests from his parents, Yoko married a talented pianist and composer but Poor Toshi Itiyanagi at the age of 23. A few years later, Toshi was employed by a training pianist in the Merce Cunningham dance group, a man who has a relationship with New York artists Avant-Garde. In the following years, he tried to get public recognition, but his appearance, exhibition, and the show was unsuccessful, and the critics refused to consider Yoko Ono. Because of the setback, the girl became depressed and tried to repeatedly commit suicide.

In 1962, his parents received information about his daughter’s lifestyle, after which he was taken to Japan and sent to one of the psychiatric clinics. There he found his future husband – Anthony Cox. He was a big fan of his work and when he knew what happened, he immediately came to Japan to find Yoko and support him. After the release, both returned to New York, where Tony became a Yoko project producer and their affairs run a little better. His daughter Kyoko Ono Cox was born on August 8, 1963.

Career

He came to London with Tony and Kyoko in 1966 to develop artistically. John Lennon, member of The Beatles, visited his exhibition at Indica Gallery on the recommendation of Paul McCartney.

According to the official version, which was then replicated by John and Yoko, John was hit to the core by one of the exhibits: there were stairs in the room with white walls and magnifying glass hung on the ceiling. After climbing, the viewer must take the magnifying glass and use it to read the word “yes” on canvas hanging from the ceiling.
